It is a death sentence. He would not survive. Saudi Arabia must immediately rescind this sentence to avoid doing something that cannot be undone.”The international community is showing increasing concern about Badawi’s fate. After statements by the United States, the European Union and Canada (where Badawi’s family has found refuge), the United Nations have now called on the Saudi authorities to stop the flogging and give Badawi a pardon. After launching a petition for Badawi’s release that has been signed by more than 30,000 people, Reporters Without Borders joined Amnesty International France in protesting outside the Saudi Embassy in Paris yesterday. An RWB representative managed to give the petition to an embassy official. Kinder officially moving to wide receiver

first_imgIt’s official. In his first time speaking to the media since John Kinder played wide receiver in practice Tuesday, Syracuse head coach Scott Shafer confirmed that the move is pretty much set in stone. He said he could always move Kinder back if he had to, but that he’s a wide receiver now and the goal is to bring him up to speed with that element of the offense.“I was real proud of John in his maturity,” Shafer said, “trying to help his team and be a selfless player.”Shafer said the move was Kinder’s idea. He added that it’s way too early to determine whether Kinder will get significant snaps as a wide receiver, but that Kinder’s motive for the switch was to play more and help the team win.Now he’ll have that opportunity. Kinder practiced with Drew Allen and the second team on Wednesday, suiting up in a green wide receiver’s jersey for the second consecutive day.AdvertisementThis is placeholder text“John Kinder,” Shafer said,” I just love him to death.” Comments Facebook Twitter Google+ Published on August 7, 2013 at 9:55 pm Contact Trevor: [email protected] | @TrevorHasslast_img read more
