It could also see Juan Mata taking part – but in a blue shirt, if recent rumours are to be believed. Saturday, July 30: Galatasaray at Ullevi Stadium, Gothenburg – Kick off – 6:30pm (BST) – It’s probably not surprising Manchester United will be playing a friendly in Sweden this summer after completing the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The superstar, we reckon, could well make his bow here against Turkish side Galatasaray in the second largest city in his homeland. Sunday, August 7: Leicester City at Wembley – Kick Off – 4pm (BST) – It’s the classic English curtain raiser, with FA Cup winners Man United tackling the Premier League champions. Can the Foxes cope with being the team to beat? The Community Shield will be our first chance to see and the Red Devils get the chance to win the contest for the 21st time (although four of them were shared). Monday, July 25: Manchester City at Beijing National Stadium – Kick off – 12:30pm (BST) – You might have to take a well-placed lunch break here so you can witness a Manchester derby on foreign soil. It will also see new managers Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola face off against each other for the first time since August 2013, when Bayern Munich won on penalties in Prague. last_img read more
